Colicchio and fellow big time New York restaurateur Mario Batali are co-producing.

Fabio Trabocchi , famed New York chef, gives his first interviews since his sudden and shocking departure from the Four Seasons restaurant last week to Josh Ozersky and Gael Greene , and sadly, not much is revealed. Joshy doesn’t broach the sensitive subject of the split (which occurred three months into his tenure) at all, keeping the conversation to safe, highly technical pasta talk and a discussion on the lack of Italian four star restaurants in NYC.

How private guided safaris benefit you! | A guest post by Brad Leontsinis
Private safari guides provide several benefits to local and international tourists alike. A private guide should boast several important attributes, namely: experience throughout several wilderness regions, excellent bush skills and understanding of animal behavior, a comprehensive background in ecology, zoology and botany or related fields, an ability to adapt and guide in any natural environment regardless of experience in the area or not, as well as excellent people skills and an ability to host guests, ensuring that they always feel safe, welcome and at home.

Photo of the Day: Up in the Mountains
I absolutely delight in travelling around Bali; exploring, meeting the locals, tasting traditional foods and in general, immersing myself in all that Bali has to offer. My particular favourite is driving up into the mountains away from the polluted areas of the tourist strip in Kuta

Is Cash Cow Bali Getting their Share?
For years I have often wondered about all that money raised by the government from VOA and other visa fees, and, just where does it end up. Moreover, and most importantly, just what percentage of all that money actually stays in Bali or is put into infrastructure across the island. There is a heck of a

Dear Diary…
I am away from my home. I have a scheduled flight to return as I am in paradise, but I’m anxious and frustrated. I want an earlier flight. There is a two-hour flight earlier and my only choice is to head there and wait. I have to accept this method called standby. I arrive to the airport for this earlier flight. I arrive at the gate hoping that I’m accepted and taken on the earlier flight to my destination. To my “home.” I am on a beautiful beach, a city full of sunshine, yet I want to be “home.” I check in. I go to my terminal. I am told without reassurance to sit and wait for my name to be called. I wait.
