Mission Accomplished: SF’s best burger found at Spruce

That’s right folks, after four long years in the city and hundreds of different burger spots I can say with complete confidence that I’ve found the best burger in San Francisco. Site of said beef masterpiece? Spruce in Pacific Heights.  Check out the full post on the link below for a detailed run-down of my four-course meal and wine-pairing, the grand finale of which was the Niman Ranch burger with pancetta, gruyere and house-marinated zucchini slices.

Delta and US Airways will appeal a decision made by the Department of Transportation concerning slot trades in the Washington D.C. and New York City markets. The deal, recently proposing that Delta and US Airways would expand and swap routes in either city, was rejected by the DOT.

This week in publicity stunts: Old Homestead Steakhouse which opened in the Meatpacking District back in 1868, is offering its 10 millionth customer free steak every week for him/her and a guest for life .
