After dringin around for an hour and a half, we finally found somewhere decent to stay and booked ourselves on a boat trip at sunset down the Ganges. We travelled past a mini burning ghat, where they cremate the dead and past a larger one further down then sailed back to watch the Aarti ceremony, which is when light from wicks soaked in purified butter are offered to the gods.

On arrival, it seemed to be a lot more aggressive with regards to people trying to make money out of us, with rickshaw drivers wanting to take us on detours to shops for their commission, but seeing as were hot and tired, it really tested our patience and they soon took us to where we wanted to go when they saw our tempers flaring!! After a quick breakfast, we headed over to the Taj Mahal to be shocked by the 750 Rs entrance fee, which is pretty much what we budget for each day for our daily living costs, in comparison to the 50 Rs entrance fee for the indian residents! It was unsurprisingly packed inside the surrounding grounds and it was a jaw dropping moment when we were stood in front of it
