2nd Cup Cafe in Allston Closes; Pizza Days Takes Over Its Space
A cafe in Allston that featured premium coffees as well as lighter fare and snacks has closed its doors, and a pizza place with two other locations in the Boston area has opened in its spot. According to a spotter on the Boston’s Hidden Restaurants Facebook page , the 2nd Cup Cafe on Brighton Avenue closed down after being in business for about three years.

According to their Facebook page, b.good has decided to shut down their restaurant on Harvard Street, citing the fact that the location never reached the levels of their other spots. The Brookline b.good first opened about three years ago.

According to the Boston Herald, Prudential Insurance is trying to foreclose on the now-bankrupt W Boston Hotel and Residences on Stuart Street in the Theatre District, though the developer indicates that a viable bankruptcy reorganization for the building is in the works
