La mostra trova il suo centro ideale in due fasi fondamentali della vita di Michelangelo: il periodo fiorentino della sua maturità,  ed il successivo periodo del trasferimento a Roma dove diventerà architetto della fabbrica di San Pietro

When I first heard about this klenteng or Chinese temple I became excited at the prospect of viewing a Chinese temple I have yet to visit already having seen all on the island of Bali . My aspirations were soon dashed when we ended up at a small temple in Denpasar down by the river.

Pura Taman Ayun was built in 1634 by the the Raja, I Gusti Agung Anom. The kingdom of Mengwi was powerful enough to control large parts of Badung , Tabanan and Gianyar from the first part of the 17th Century to the latter part of the 19th Century. The temple is surrounded by a moat and is set on 3 different levels, the inner courtyard at the top having its own moat

Out in the countryside of Bali the toilets are a little bit less to be desired and somewhat unclean as compared to your hotel in Kuta or even at home. I was eager to visit Kuta on my last sojourn to Lombok mainly out of curiosity. That, and the fact so many people had told me of its pristine appeal to travellers as well as being a good surf break. This tiny village on the sweeping bay of white sand and coconut palms was refreshing and the total opposite to that of its counterpart on the sister island of Bali .
