Seafood Feast at Bultaneun Cheongdamdong Jogae Gui
One of the things I enjoy about dining at Korean restaurants is that some of them offer tableside cooking where you either cook it yourself as in Korean BBQ or they’ll cook it for you as in Octopus Fried Rice or Spicy Crab Soup . So after reading an LA Times article about a Koreatown restaurant that specializes in a multi-course tableside prepared seafood meal, I knew that this was one place I had to visit and soon. The name of the restaurant is Bultaneun Cheongdamdong Jogae Gui, which translates to Flaming Clam Grill of Cheongdamdong and it’s in the Chapman Market Complex.

LA Cupcake Tour Powered by Chevy
When I got an email from Tara of When Tara Met Blog inviting me to join her LA Cupcake Meetup Group for a tour of 4 cupcake shops in LA, I was pretty stoked. When I learned that we would also be chauffeured in a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox and 2010 Chevrolet Camaro convoy courtesy of Chevrolet and @BestOfTours , how in the heck could I say no to that? On the day of the actual tour, there were gray skies and imminent rain, but I wasn’t going to be deterred by a little bit of water

The Most AWESOME Interview I’ve Ever Done – With Captain Australia
Ok, so about a week ago I received an email from a Breaking Free reader. He began “Dear Citizen Brian” and went on to explain that yes, he was in fact a real life super hero who dressed in costume and patrolled various areas of Australia, intimidating the criminal element. He also wanted help spreading his message and building his blog

Making a U Turn for Cafe Antigua Guatemala
You know how you have one of those days when you rush to get to an appointment only to find out that you got the times mixed up and are actually early? So now you have time to kill and then you realize that you’re also hungry? What’s a girl to do, except look for some place to have lunch, so I decide to take a drive and tell myself to stop at the first place that looks interesting.

New Way To Build User Generated Content Sites?
I’ve noticed a trend of sites coming out recently that are built around the idea of taking short, funny, user generated content. Often users can submit them as text messages or emails. Sort of like Twitter but on a particular topic. It might sound stupid, but some of these sites are getting over 1 million unique visitors a month, and probably doing about $1 million a year in advertising revenue from it. For example, fmylife.com let’s people submit funny one liners about how much their life sucks. Users rate them or bury them based on how funny they are.

How To Get More Links To Your Website With User Badges
This entry is part 17 of 17 in the series UniversityTutor.com I had an interesting conversation with Neil Patel earlier this week. I called him to get some advice on UniversityTutor.com and how I could take it to the next level. Neil is a really successful guy in the web business space, so I figured it’d be a good brainstorm. His biggest advice was to get more incoming links to the site. This is probably the most important thing you can do to rank well in search engines, because Google (and others) place a high value on how many sites link to you. It’s also a great barrier to entry against competitors because an established site will have lots of incoming links built up over time and it will be very difficult for a new startup to outrank them in search engines. I’m already ranking well for some local searches (such as biology tutor austin ) but not so well in other (such as find a tutor ). This is largely due to how long those sites have been around and how many incoming links they have

Thanks to the directors, teachers and faculty at Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci in Milan
My name is Danny Ferrone . I am from Chicago Illinois and I am the founder of the Fight Forever Foundation – a foundation that is Fighting to Cure Cystic Fibrosis , a deadly lung disease that affects 100,000 people worldwide. I would like to take the time to express my deep gratitude to the directors, teachers and faculty at Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci in Milan . I came to Italy with the absolute necessity to learn Italian to be able to communicate the important messages of my foundation and to be able to communicate and collaborate with organizations here in Italy who share in our mission of finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. None of this would have been possible for me to achieve if I had not had the opportunity to attend this school. Throughout the duration of my enrollment, I personally never encountered an instructor who wasn’t full of energy and dedicated to my learning Italian.

South Coast Plaza Food Blogger Event
Recently, about a dozen LA and Orange County Food Bloggers and Writers were invited to a 2 day event put together by Lee Healey of Lee Healey Marketing Communications and hosted by both Lee and Debra Gunn Downing, Executive Director of Marketing of South Coast Plaza . The event centered around dining experiences at 5 restaurants as well as checking out a high end kitchen and cooking store. Since I hardly ever go down Orange County way, this was my first experience with all the places we visited and it was nice to find such great eating options down South.

That’s Right, Scuola Leonardo did it Again! “Mister Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci has been crowned.”
Every year the school hosts both the “ Miss and Mister Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci Contests ” as a fun way for students to give special recognition to their friends and classmates for their effort in learning Italian. Again, there was a large showing of people who came to the event. Some people already knew each other from their morning and afternoon lessons, but there were many new faces who participated too. New students and veteran students of all ages, friends of Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci and other Italian people from Milan all came out for the event. Overall the event was a success and another great way for everyone to come together, have fun and meet new friends.

Fiesta-time in Barcelona!
Hi folks! Firstly, I would like to introduce myself: I am Genta and last year I took a Spanish course in Barcelona. I love this wonderful city! It has everything! The sun, the beach, the narrow and romantic streets, the bars and clubs, good food, festivals, the best football… You never get bored! I was lucky enough to be there during September and La Mercè. This is a local holiday throughout Catalonia and Barcelona celebrates every year with the festival of festivals, ‘La fiesta Mayor’! Last year, Barcelona celebrated its patron saint, the Virgin of La Mercè (the Virgin Mary) with live concerts, traditional music, dance, theatre, cinemas, street shows, circus and all kinds of different sports

2009’s “Miss Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci”
It was a hot summer night outside, but everyone from school was keeping cool with cold drinks and good food, in the anticipation of the 2009 Miss Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci . Every year the school hosts this contest as a fun way for students to give special recognition to their friends and classmates for their effort in class. Some people already knew each other from their morning and afternoon lessons, but there were many new faces who participated too. New students and veteran students of all ages, friends of Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci and other Italian people from Milan all came out for the event. It was a great group of people and even greater occasion for everyone to come together, have fun and meet new friends. There were 20 student contestants representing the countries of Austria, Philippines, Japan, Spain, England, Russia, Canada, Korea, Israel, Lithuania and United States. Each potential “Miss” got to walk down the sidewalk runway outside of the Mayflower Pub to the applause of all her friends and fellow students, as she let them know how much she wanted their vote.

No Bacon in Sight at Fukagawa for a Traditional Japanese Breakfast
Traditional Japanese breakfast definitely strays from the Western tradition of bacon and eggs, pancakes and waffles and in fact, is more like a meal you’d have for lunch or even dinner. In doing research to find out what restaurant serves a Japanese breakfast in the LA area, one place came up over and over and that was Fukagawa in the city of Gardena. So one early morning, a few members from my dining group made the trek out with me to this South Bay restaurant

¡Baja Delicioso! Introduction and the Ultimate Carne Asada Taco at Tacos El Poblano
Steamed Mussels from Muelle Tres in Ensenada A couple of years ago, I met Bill aka Street Gourmet LA through a mutual friend and ever since then, my association with him has enabled me to experience some truly exquisite Mexican cuisine outside of LA, specifically in Tijuana, Guadalupe Valley and Ensenada. The first time I went down Baja Way with Bill, I was amazed! My second visit with him was just as exciting. However, my third visit was truly epically mind-blowing and it made me fall even more in love with the food along the Baja Coast of Mexico

Beta Launch of FeedmailPro.com! (With Demo VIDEO)
This entry is part 2 of 2 in the series FeedmailPro.com Last week I told you about a new project I was working on, and I wanted to give you a sneak peak at how it’s going! WARNING: this is a beta launch, and the site is still being developed. So I DON’T recommend you start using it for your main newsletter or move your list over yet. This is just for testing purposes. I also ask that you don’t post about it anywhere else yet. I want to keep the beta launch small and manageable (besides, it will be much more profitable for you to post about it once I have the affiliate program set up!) Lots of things will be changing going forward. A couple points worth mentioning: 1.
